Two tapers dipped by hand in pure beeswax, layer over layer, and left their natural honey colour. Unscented — the faint smell of honey is the wax itself.
Each is 10 inches tall with a 7/8 inch base, which fits a standard taper holder. Beeswax burns slower and drips less than paraffin; in still air each taper burns for about 8 hours.
Sold as a pair, joined at the wick. Cut the wick between them before lighting.

- Finish & variation
- Natural honey colour that varies from pale gold to deeper amber between batches, because the wax is not bleached or dyed. Hand-dipped, so the surface carries faint rings from the dipping and the two tapers in a pair are not perfectly identical. Beeswax can develop a pale bloom over time; buff it off with a soft cloth.

- Hand-poured in small batches in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Care & burning
- Cut the wick joining the pair, then trim each wick to 1/4 inch before lighting.
- Set each taper straight and firmly in its holder. A leaning taper drips down one side.
- Burn out of drafts; moving air is what makes any taper drip.
- Store flat and out of the sun. Beeswax softens in a hot car or a sunny window.
Safety & cautions
- Never leave a burning candle unattended, and never burn one while you sleep.
- Keep away from drafts, curtains, shelves overhead and anything that can catch. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Beeswax has no vessel to contain it. Always burn it in or on a non-flammable holder or plate that catches drips and stands steady.
- Do not burn below 2 inches from the holder or plate — stop there.
- Never use water to put out a candle.
- Use a holder made for tapers that grips the base firmly. If the taper is loose, wrap the base in a little foil or use a taper adhesive rather than letting it lean.
